Adventure Blog:
For the Ladies

I love this movement in the rock climbing and outdoor world where women are coming together and supporting each other!

Don't get me wrong, I love men and enjoy being with men. Appreciating and enjoying being with women is not mutually exclusive from appreciating and enjoying being with men. But, just like men need to go into the man-cave with their buddies, women need to retreat together - outdoors - as well. And, to complete the balance, men and women need to go into the outdoors together.

If you follow this blog, or go to my website www.commonclimber.com, you know that I like to write, share ideas, and express. In this vein, I have found myself wanting to share and connect with other outdoors women. Yes, we are each unique, but I also think that, as women, we have similarities.

So here goes - video blogs (vlog) for the ladies.

  • Getting Women Climbing Outside

I am also assembling a list of resources for women and the outdoors, from interesting articles to organizations paving the way for balance. When we all appreciate each other, we all lift each other up!
