You've probably surmised by the name of the crag (The Slab) and the climbs (Slab Slick, Slab Happy, etc.) that this area is slab-a-licious - that is if you like slab ;-).
Michelle and I played around on a bunch of climbs here at The Slab and nabbing two of the five 5.7's Rick and I hadn't done yet (Slab Stick and Slab Happy). These two climbs have particularly steep and featureless starts giving them their FEISTY rating. The terrain eases up after the first couple of bolts, moving into "easy" friction fun ("easy" is in quotes because people's tolerance for friction varies - following that logic I guess "fun" should be in quotes too - haha!)
There are numerous cruiser slab climbs here and several more challenging 8s and 9s! I have to say "What R Streak" is amongst the most difficult 5.9s I've ever done (the Handren guide rates it a 5.9, Mountain Project calls it a 10a) and, if it were part of this tour, as a 5.9, I'd call it a WTFucker!- it was definitely harder than the 5.10b slab I did in City of Rocks. I'd love to hear what a 5.12 climber has to say about "What R Streak," but I digress, this is a 5.7 tour...
