Wow! This climb receives high marks and it's well deserved. It is a What the Fabulous!
The main thing to know is that if you go straight up the flakey-looking finger crack, there are very few options for protection, and it's small gear. There is a crack to the left that takes a wide variety of gear, but it does pull you off the main line. It's an easier climb if you stick purely to the left crack. As you near the top, you end up merging/finishing the same way. If you want to protect left and climb right, you will need long slings. You can essentially do two climbs here - the left crack and the main flakey crack - both of which are wonderful and different from each other. Romper Room finishes at a bolted anchor. |

This is a Todd Swain climb and is deserving of the plus. There is some feisty moves at the start, the roof is a bit in your face but really cool, and you have to make a committing move to get to the bolt above the roof. A little further up the climb goes onto some sandy slabby knobby/bally mildly crumbly stuff that is protected by 3 bolts that have some distance between them. There are a couple of moves that might get your heart pumping before you are able to clip a bolt. The bolts, which were originally home-made style hangars, were replaced in 2012. The anchor was also moved down and to a more visible location (so you can rap with a 70m and also not accidentally climb past the anchor - like used to commonly happen.)
